Brennan opens her mouth to disagree. Then closes it again. She can't really argue with Angela's assessment.

Because if it had been Booth who was in danger, she would have felt the same way.

The small quirk of her mouth is to let Angela know that the point has been considered and taken.

She takes a drink of her tea before she answers.

"Tight. Withdrawn. It's like......Epps beat us again. Even if he's dead."
